1. What is collected
Submitting the waitlist form stores three things: the email address you entered, the time you submitted it, and the IP address the submission came from. They are written as a single plain-text line to a file on a server we run, and the IP is stored because it is what limits how fast the form can be submitted.
2. What it is used for
Only to send you the one message the form promises, when there is a build worth installing. It is not sold, shared, or used for anything else, and there is no newsletter.
3. Having it deleted
Write to hello@covely.io and the line will be removed. You do not need to give a reason, and asking is enough on its own — you do not need to write from the address in question, though it is quicker if you do.
4. No accounts, no cookies, no analytics
There are no accounts on covely.io and nothing to sign into. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no trackers or advertising.
5. Who else sees anything
The site runs on a server rented from OVH, so OVH necessarily handles the traffic reaching it. That is the only third party. Typefaces, styles and images are served from this domain, so no other company sees that you visited, and nobody receives your waitlist entry.
6. Retention and security
Entries are kept until the launch message has been sent or you ask for removal, whichever comes first. The site is served over HTTPS. It is a small operation and cannot promise more than that.
7. Children and changes
Covely is not directed to children under 13. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
