1. Information collected
Covely stores account details such as name, email address, password credentials managed through Better Auth, active sessions, creator profile fields, listing drafts, moderation state, and the external destinations you submit. The server may also process IP address, user agent, request time, route, status, and security events.
2. Information not collected
Covely does not process marketplace card payments or store payment-card details. Files bought or downloaded from an external destination are handled by that destination. The current book-writing preview stores drafts in your browser rather than in the Covely account database.
3. How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, operate creator workspaces, review and publish listings, prevent abuse, maintain security, respond to support requests, and understand service reliability. Covely does not sell personal information.
4. Cookies
Covely uses strictly necessary authentication cookies to keep signed-in sessions working. No advertising or cross-site analytics cookies are currently used. External destinations may apply their own cookies and privacy policies.
5. Service providers
Infrastructure providers may process limited information on Covely's behalf to host the application, database, domain, email, backups, or monitoring. Providers are given only the access needed for their role. Public listing information is visible to anyone.
6. Retention and security
Account and listing records are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period needed for moderation, security, disputes, and legal obligations. Covely uses HTTPS, access controls, hashed passwords, private database networking, and restricted administrative access, but no online service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices
You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of account information by emailing privacy@covely.io from the account address. Deletion may remove published profiles and listings. Export browser-local book drafts separately before clearing browser storage.
8. Children and changes
Covely is not directed to children under 13. Material policy changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
